How to get your polished nails to look like a pro mani

Yesterday I had a really bad day. I was very depressed and feeling like I was gonna die. But with a deep chat and clearing the air with my husband I feel alot better today. Enough about me!
Today I’m gonna share a little trick on how to get your polished nails to look like they had been done by a pro. Interesting right?
So, what we gonna need is:

  • acetone
  • a brush (I prefer straight)
  • a small bowl
  • a paper or tissue (to wipe brush on)
  • nail oil or cuticle cream

Start by painting your nails in the polish of your choice. If you want to do nail art do that in this step to. Dont worry if the polish get dry, this is gonna work anyway.

As you can see we have polish on the cuticle and the sidewalls of the nail.
Now its time to fill the little bowl with your acetone and grab your brush. Dipp the brush in the acetone and start to remove the polish at the sidewalls and around the cuticle. Dont be afraid to remove a tiny bit of polish on your nail because that will only result in a razor sharp line that look awesome.

After the step you want to topcoat (forgot to write that in the top) and let everything dry. Once dry, apply nail oil or cuticle cream (acetone really get your skin dry and awfull) and massage it in. And voila, now your nails look awesome and are good to go for a photoshoot. This is a much easier tecnique then trying to get the polish neat with a q-tip.

I’m gonna add this post to a catagory on top so it will be easy to find.
Good luck and have fun šŸ˜‰
